Cara joined The Dolins Group in November 2007. She was raised on a predominantly beef cattle farm near Brooklyn, Illinois (west central part of the state).

She graduated from MacMurray College in May 2002 with Summa Cum Laude honors in a double major of Professional Accountancy and International Studies. In November 2003, she passed the CPA exam.

When not in the office Cara likes to be with friends and solving Sudoku puzzles. She also loves to spend time with her local church, The Gathering Place in Libertyville.

Cara enjoys spending vacations going overseas to work with various organizations. She has been to Mozambique with Kingdom Sending Center partnering with an organization Iris Global Ministries to serve orphans and widows. She also has been to Kazakhstan with a church to work with teens/young adults.
